Sophomore goaltender, Joey Hall, starting the season off strong only allowing two goals. Rookies, Weaver, Webb, and C. Gallagher scored their first goals on the team. NCSU won 8-2.

Saturday, NC State matched up with Elon for an afternoon game. The Wolfpack played a full 60 minutes, battling the entire way with Elon.
